It’s import to get the correct measurement of your dog’s neck size before ordering. The best and most accurate way is to use a fabric tape measure. This allows you to accurately measure the circumference of your dogs neck.
Please ensure that the size you purchase is larger than your dog’s neck, but smaller than their overall head size. This will prevent the collar from slipping off.
MEASURING FOR A CHAIN COLLAR? (OPTION 1)
Measure at the centre of the neck
Pick the size up from that measurement – If your dog measures 20″, choose the 22″
Some people prefer to have additional slack on their collars for aesthetic purposes. This is normally achieved by adding between 1-3″ to the required size. Please keep in mind that if the collar is larger than your dog’s head, it could slip off.
MEASURING FOR A CHAIN COLLAR? (OPTION 2)
DOG COLLAR SIZING: It's crucial to measure your pet's neck accurately to ensure the perfect fit for their dog collar.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOG'S NECK SIZE? Here's how simple it is! Use a measuring tape and wrap it around the middle of your dog's neck, where the collar will rest. Don't add any extra room, just take the actual measurement.
This sizing method applies to larger breeds such as American pit bulls, pit bulls, dobermans, rottweilers, Great Danes, Bull Mastiffs, Cane Corsos, English bulldogs, American bulldogs, and many others.
HOW TO MEASURE USING YOUR DOGS CURRENT COLLAR
Do not measure end to end. This is a very common mistake… Measure from the arrow indicated below on the ‘male’ end of the buckle (This is where the end of the female side of the connector meets the male side) to the female end of the collar.
Please remember to allow for some slack for comfort.
